Meet The Team
Hi France! This is a great question. Bras are actually pretty simple to sew, and use standard sewing supplies like scissors, needles, thread, a sewing machine and an iron. There is a list right here on the website. Some extra things that help are some sort of ham for pressing cups (a fence finial is a great form base), some of the small drafting curves available at brabuilders.com or wherever you can find them, a small iron (because bra pieces tend to be small) and a variety of sewing machine needles. You won't know right off which needle will work on your fabric. Finally, if you're doing the knit bra with Monica, you might want to pre-soak your floppy knit in liquid starch and allow it to dry flat. This will make it much friendlier to manage.
